A Diamond and Platinum Brooch/Pendant Necklace
Suspending a finely pierced shield-shaped pendant decorated with old European-cut and round diamonds weighing approximately 2.05 carats, accented by synthetic sapphires, together with a line necklace set with round diamonds weighing approximately 3.55 carats, in platinum, length 16 3/8 inches

Condition
In good overall condition, with one synthetic sapphire deficient, a minor solder repair between two links, not noticeable when worn. The diamonds estimated to weigh 5.65 carats, G-I colour, SI-I1 clarity. The pendant, circa 1920, with a later added pin and latch at the back to wear as a brooch in the upside down position. The diamond line necklace, circa 1950, has a tiny loop at the midpoint, visible when pendant is removed. The pendant measuring 2 3/8 inches (61 mm) long (with bail).
