An Art Deco Jadeite, Diamond and Platinum Necklace, circa 1920
The carved jadeite plaque depicting a flower, leaves and melons, the surmount set with round and baguette-cut diamonds, joined to a fancy link chain accented by six jadeite beads, in platinum, length 18 inches

Condition
Weight: 12.0 grams
Pendant measuring 20 mm x 40 mm (including bail)
Jadeite measuring 20 mm x 29 mm, of a medium light to medium tone of green colour, medium low translucency, good carving, good polish
The jadeite was tested at the CGL-GRS Swiss Canadian Gemlab and found to be natural, known in the trade as 'A-Jade'. No gemmological report provided.
Diamonds weight estimated 0.30 carat, G-I colour, VS clarity
The platinum chain has been lengthened by a later added 10K white gold box chain and clasp
