An Art Deco Jadeite, Diamond, Platinum and Gold Bar Brooch
The elongated oval form featuring a carved jadeite plaque depicting peaches, flowers and foliage, accented by small diamond-set leaves, the curved terminals decorated with black enamel trim, the gallery carved with a foliate pattern, in platinum and 14k yellow gold

Length 58 mm
Jadeite, of a light to medium green colour, mottled, medium low translucency, good carving. The jadeite was tested at the CGL-GRS Swiss Canadian Gemlab and found to be natural. Known in the trade as 'A-Jade'. No gemological report provided.
Good overall condition, with some damage to the black enamel at the midpoint of one terminal
