Designed as a petite bee, with tiger's eye body and accented by old-cut diamonds weighing approximately 0.60 carat, and rubies, in silver and 14k pink gold

Brooch measuring 23 mm x 18 mm
Diamonds I-J colour, SI clarity
Rubies weight estimated 0.20 carat, of a medium tone of intense pinkish red colour, good clarity, good matching. It is Dupuis' opinion that there is no evidence of heat treatment, and that features found in the rubies are consistent with features found in rubies known to have originated in Myanmar (formerly Burma)
